The main building of the institute, which is more than 30 years old, had deteriorated due to aging and foundation settlement. As it is a very important institutional building, ensuring its structural safety is of prime importance. We developed a unique CFRP composite retrofitting solution to strengthen the structure, enabling it to withstand conventional and earthquake loadings as per the latest IS codes.
